Permits & Inspections

The City of New Waverly partners with a third-party provider to manage all permitting and inspections for residential and commercial construction projects.Basic application forms are available for download on this page. These can help you gather the required information before submitting your permit request.
Step 1: Prepare Your Application
Fill out the required permit application and gather any supporting documents (site plans, drawings, etc.) related to your project.
Step 2: Submit to Permit Provider
Contact our permitting partner to submit your application and begin the permit review process. They will assist with any questions and inspection scheduling.
Step 3: Pay Fees at city Hall
Bring your payment to New Waverly City Hall once your permit has been approved.

Manufactured Home Permit Information

In order to protect and enhance the quality of life within our city, the City Council adopted Ordinance 1999-01 which relates to manufactured homes. This includes manufactured homes (mobile homes, travel trailers, transportable buildings containing water supply, waste disposal and electrical conveniences.)

Any manufactured home moved into the city limits and/or requesting city services will be affected by this ordinance. Manufactured homes must abide by certain requirements included, but not limited to the following:

Home older than 5 years must be approved by the council. (Must have HUD ID) 

A copy of the ordinance is available at City Hall during normal working hours.
