In order to protect and enhance the quality of life within our city, the City Council adopted Ordinance 1999-01 which relates to manufactured homes. This includes manufactured homes (mobile homes, travel trailers, transportable buildings containing water supply, waste disposal and electrical conveniences.)

Any manufactured home moved into the city limits and/or requesting city services will be affected by this ordinance. Manufactured homes must abide by certain requirements included, but not limited to the following:

• 12,000 sq. ft. or larger lot size
• $25.00 Permit Fee
• Written plan of manufactured home
• Electrical Requirements
• Tie downs and anchors
•  Fire Protection
•  Water/Sewer/Garbage Service
•  Skirting
• Off street parking 
• Fuel Supply (Natural gas or liquefied petroleum gas, if necessary)

Home older than 5 years must be approved by the council. (Must have HUD ID)
